This was a great book! I think I liked it even better than the first one. I think it can be read by many different age groups too... Right now, I would probably pick this one for the Newberry award.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this book, but a thought the beginning drag a bit. I thought once the action started it was hard to put down. I have bee to Alcatraz so I could picture some of the scenes really well. It is a fun book to read, but I don't think it will win the Newbery.
