  1. Really good book! I don't think it has that much adult/ya content, and it was a great subject I had never read about. It was a fresh outlook on segregation and life now, along with not discriminating against the elderly and thinking "well they are just old.." The characters were perfect and the history was interesting. 5*****

  2. I just sarted reading this book and it seems really good.I think that the road trip teaches the girls to appreciate their grandmother more. However in the Then sections the grandmother's use of double negatives and other gramatical errors is a little hard to read.

  4. I loved the style of writing this book used, which was basically going back and forth from past to present. I thought there were some interesting facts about World War II that I've never heard about.
